Creating Additional Blogs

When you first sign up for Minimal, you automatically get a personal blog under your username (example: minimal.blog/@your_username).

You can see your profile (and your personal blog) by tapping on the ☰ menu button in the upper-left corner of any page, and tapping the "Your Profile" link. Your username can be changed by tapping on the "Edit your profile" link (see "Updating Your Profile" for additional help).

How to create an additional blog

If you are subscribed to the Audience Builder plan, you can create as many topic-specific blogs as you'd like. For example, if you have a passion for photography but also enjoy writing about cooking, your photographer friends may not also be interested in cooking. In that case, it's best to create both a Photography blog and a Cooking blog.

To create a new or additional blog, tap on the ☰ menu button in the upper-left corner of any page, and then tap on the "Your Blogs" link. You will then see a button you can tap to "Create an Additional Blog".

All you need to create a new blog is a name and brief description (up to 500 characters).

Publishing articles on your new blog

Once you have more than just your personal blog, you will see an option in the Settings panel of the Article Editor. It will allow you to select which blog an article appears on. To see this option, tap on the ⚙️ icon in the upper-right corner of the Article Editor, and then select the blog you want the article to appear on in the dropdown.

Moving existing articles to a different blog

You can move an existing article to a different blog in the article's settings panel. To change which blog an article appears on, tap on the ⚙️ icon in the upper-right corner of the editor, and then select the blog you want the article to appear on in the dropdown.

Since the URL of your article will change, we'll take care of automatically redirecting anyone who goes to the old article URL.
